the comforter itself is very soft, and is true to size. However, my son's room and bed are constantly covered with escaped feathers. They poke him while he sleeps. I bought this so i would not need a duvet, but i am going to have to get one in an endeavor to corral all the feathers. It was on sale when i bought it, i got what i paid for.
